Last Updated: April 8, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern access to the KCNH website, student dashboards, portals, learning systems, and related services. By using the Site, enrolling in a program, accessing a student dashboard, or submitting coursework, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, Payment Terms, AHPLEX Terms, Student Handbook, and other institutional policies published by KCNH.

Privacy and Electronic Communications

These Terms and Conditions govern access to the KCNH website, student dashboards, portals, learning systems, and related services. By using the Site, enrolling in a program, accessing a student dashboard, or submitting coursework, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, Payment Terms, Student Handbook, and other institutional policies published by KCNH.

Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity occurring under your account. Accounts may not be assigned or transferred. KCNH may suspend, restrict, or block access to any student dashboard, portal, or learning system in cases including nonpayment, policy violations, academic misconduct, pending review, or other administrative concerns. KCNH does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to its website, dashboards, or online systems.

Payment and Financial Responsibilities

By enrolling in a KCNH program using a payment plan, you authorize KCNH to automatically debit monthly tuition payments from the payment method provided at checkout unless a manual payment option is selected where available. Regardless of payment method, you remain responsible for timely tuition payments in accordance with your selected plan and KCNH payment policies. Additional payment, refund, and financial policies are governed by the KCNH Payment Terms.

Coursework Submission and Academic Integrity

Students must personally complete and submit their own coursework through the applicable KCNH program dashboard. Submission of coursework by anyone other than the student, or submission of material not authored by the student except as expressly permitted by KCNH policy, constitutes academic misconduct and may result in disciplinary action, termination, or invalidation of any degree issued.

Grading and Academic Standards

KCNH’s grading and assessment policies are designed to ensure that all students demonstrate genuine competency in their program of study. The following standards apply to all KCNH degree programs.

Grading Scale

All graded assignments are evaluated on a 0–100 scale. Letter grades are assigned as follows: A (90–100%), B (80–89%), C (70–79%), D (60–69%), and F (59% and below). The minimum passing score for any individual assignment is 70%.

Assessment Structure

Each course includes two essay assignments and two multiple-choice assessments. Essay assignments are reviewed and graded by the KCNH academic team. Multiple-choice assessments are graded automatically by the learning management system.

Resubmission and Retake Opportunity

Students who do not meet the minimum passing score on an essay assignment are provided one resubmission opportunity per assignment, up to a maximum of three total essay resubmission credits per program. Students who do not meet the minimum passing score on a multiple-choice assessment are provided one retake opportunity per assessment, up to a maximum of three total retake credits per program. Essay and multiple-choice credit pools are separate and non-transferable. Upon receiving a resubmission notice, students have fourteen (14) days to submit their revised essay. Failure to resubmit within this window forfeits the attempt and consumes the credit. After all permitted attempts are exhausted, the grade earned on the final attempt is final. Resubmissions and retakes are evaluated on their merits without a grade cap.

Multiple-Choice Assessment Feedback

Score only is returned to students between attempts on multiple-choice assessments. Correct answers and question-level feedback are not disclosed at any point during or after the assessment process.

Grading Timeline

KCNH’s academic team has up to thirty (30) days from the date of submission to complete review and grading of essay assignments.

Graduation Eligibility

Students must achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 70% across all graded assignments in the program to be eligible for graduation. Individual course results are recorded on the official transcript. No student will be approved for graduation with a cumulative GPA below 70%.

Artificial Intelligence Use

KCNH requires academic authenticity and ethical scholarship in all coursework and submissions. Permitted AI use may include grammar, spelling, formatting, outlining, reference organization, literature summarization for personal comprehension, and citation structuring, as allowed by KCNH policy.

Prohibited AI use includes generating, paraphrasing, or rewriting academic work using AI; fabricating or simulating data, results, or citations; submitting AI-generated content as original student work; or concealing or misrepresenting AI use. Violations may result in corrective action, disciplinary review, blocked status, termination, or other institutional action.

KCNH may review submissions using academic integrity evaluation methods, including review of drafts, outlines, research notes, writing patterns, stylometric analysis, linguistic analysis, and other relevant materials. KCNH may use AI systems in academic integrity reviews or administrative operations and is not liable for errors, limitations, or omissions produced by such tools.

Textbooks and Course Materials

Students are responsible for purchasing all required textbooks and course materials unless otherwise expressly stated by KCNH.

Program Extensions

Program completion deadlines are as follows:

  • Bachelor’s Degree programs: 4 years (1,460 days) from the date of first tuition payment
  • Doctoral programs: 5 years (1,825 days) from the date of first tuition payment

If a student does not complete all program requirements within the applicable timeframe, program dashboard access will be suspended. To continue the program, the student must purchase a one (1) year extension at a fee of four hundred ninety-five dollars ($495). Extensions may be purchased annually with no limit on the total number of extensions available. Each extension period begins on the date the prior deadline expires. Dashboard access is restored upon receipt of the extension fee.

Extension fees are non-refundable. Purchasing an extension does not modify any other institutional policy, academic requirement, or tuition obligation. KCNH reserves the right to adjust the extension fee for future extension periods with reasonable notice.

Students with documented disabilities who require additional time to complete their program due to disability-related circumstances may request a disability-based extension. Such requests must be submitted in writing with supporting documentation and will be reviewed in accordance with applicable law. KCNH will engage in an interactive process to determine reasonable accommodations where required. Disability-based extension requests are separate from and do not consume the standard annual extension option.

Transcript Policy

KCNH issues transcripts in accordance with its institutional policies and procedures. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, KCNH is not obligated to issue a transcript reflecting partial, incomplete, or in-progress coursework for any student who has not completed the applicable program requirements.

KCNH reserves the right to determine the form, content, and timing of any transcript or academic record it may issue. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed as a guarantee that KCNH will issue a partial transcript, interim academic record, or transcript for incomplete program participation, except where required by law or expressly provided in KCNH written policies.

Degree Conferral and Credential Use

All program requirements and tuition payments must be completed before a degree is awarded. Degrees, diplomas, and official use of titles or designations are conferred only after the tuition balance is paid in full and the account is cleared. Until that time, use of any title or designation in any format is prohibited. Misuse of credentials may result in disciplinary or legal action.

Compliance with Policies

Students must comply with the KCNH Student Handbook, Terms of Use, Payment Terms, academic policies, and all other institutional rules, procedures, and policies published by KCNH, as amended from time to time. Additional policies and procedures published on the KCNH website are incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions.

Administrative Review and Communication

KCNH may investigate potential violations of institutional policy, academic misconduct, misuse of AI, misrepresentation, or other conduct inconsistent with KCNH standards. As part of any review, KCNH may request supporting materials, written explanations, drafts, notes, or other relevant information from the student.

KCNH may require that academic, administrative, financial, and disciplinary matters be addressed directly by the student and in the format, timeline, and manner designated by KCNH. Students are responsible for timely responding to KCNH communications and for submitting requests, documents, and required information in accordance with KCNH procedures.

Failure to cooperate with an institutional review, or failure to provide requested materials within the time specified by KCNH, may result in administrative action, blocked status, disciplinary action, or termination.

Misrepresentation

Any applicant or student who provides false, misleading, or incomplete information in connection with an application, enrollment, supporting documentation, or institutional matter may be subject to disqualification, revocation of admission, termination of enrollment, rescission of benefits or qualifications, or other action deemed appropriate by KCNH.
