Admissions and Eligibility

What are the prerequisites for each program?

Prerequisites depend on the program level:

  • Bachelor’s Programs: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Doctoral Programs: Require a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in a natural health field, but not required).

*The KCNH Bachelor’s degree qualifies for ALL KCNH Doctoral degrees.

Is there a minimum age requirement to enroll?

Yes. All students must be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrollment.

Can I apply directly to a doctoral program without a master’s degree?

In some cases, applicants with a bachelor’s degree and extensive professional or academic experience may be considered for doctoral programs. This is determined on a case-by-case basis, and applicants are encouraged to contact admissions for an evaluation.

Are international students eligible to apply?

Yes, international students are welcome to apply. Additional requirements may include credential evaluations to verify equivalency to U.S. education standards and proof of English proficiency if English is not the applicant’s primary language.

Can I transfer credits from another institution?

No.  Transfer credits are not accepted.

Can I change programs after enrolling?

No. Program selection is final upon enrollment. Changes, substitutions, or transfers to another program will not be permitted.

Does KCNH offer accommodations for students with disabilities?

Yes. Students with documented disabilities who require additional time to complete their program due to disability-related circumstances may request a disability-based extension. Requests must be submitted in writing with supporting documentation and will be reviewed in accordance with applicable law. KCNH will engage in an interactive process to determine reasonable accommodations where required. Disability-based extension requests are separate from and do not consume the standard annual extension option.

Program Structure and Content

Are your programs online?

Yes, all programs are fully online, with no required in-person components or residencies. This ensures that students from any location can participate without the need to travel or relocate. All coursework, assignments, and exams are completed remotely.

Are the courses video-based, book-based, or a combination of both?

Courses are text-based and include reading assignments, textbooks, essays and multiple choice questions.

Are your programs self-paced?

Yes, all programs are self-paced (within your program deadline), allowing students to progress at their own speed. This flexibility is ideal for those balancing education with work, family, or other commitments. Students can create their own schedules and complete coursework at a pace that works for them, whether that means studying full-time or part-time.

How much time do I have to complete a program?

The time to complete a program depends on the student’s pace and the program level. Your program deadline is measured from the date of your first tuition payment. One-year extensions are available for purchase at a fee of four hundred ninety-five dollars ($495) per extension, with no limit on the total number of extensions.

  • Bachelor’s programs: max 4 years (1,460 days) from the first tuition payment date
  • Doctoral programs: max 5 years (1,825 days) from the first tuition payment date
Can I take individual classes without enrolling in a full program?

No. We only offer programs, not individual courses.

How are courses structured and graded?

Each course includes two essay assignments and two multiple-choice assessments. Essay assignments are reviewed and graded by the KCNH academic team. Multiple-choice assessments are graded automatically by the learning management system. All graded assignments are evaluated on a 0 to 100 scale, and the minimum passing score for any individual assignment is 70%. Students must also maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 70% across all graded assignments to be eligible for graduation.

What happens if I do not pass an assignment?

Students who do not meet the 70% minimum on an essay assignment receive one resubmission opportunity per assignment, up to a maximum of three total essay resubmission credits per program. Students who do not pass a multiple-choice assessment receive one retake opportunity per assessment, up to a maximum of three total retake credits per program. Essay and multiple-choice credit pools are separate and non-transferable. Upon receiving a resubmission notice, students have fourteen (14) days to submit revised essay work.

How long does it take to get my essays graded?

The KCNH academic team has up to thirty (30) days from the date of submission to complete review and grading of essay assignments. Multiple-choice assessments are graded automatically, and scores are returned immediately. Correct answers and question-level feedback for multiple-choice assessments are not disclosed at any point during or after the assessment process.

Are the Multiple-Choice Assessments timed?

Yes. Each Multiple-Choice Assessment consists of 60 questions and must be completed within 60 minutes.

Can I use AI tools like ChatGPT in my coursework?

Limited AI use is permitted for grammar, spelling, formatting, outlining, reference organization, literature summarization for personal comprehension, and citation structuring. Generating, paraphrasing, or rewriting academic work using AI, fabricating data or citations, submitting AI-generated content as original student work, or concealing AI use is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action, blocked status, termination, or other institutional action. KCNH may review submissions using academic integrity evaluation methods, including review of drafts, outlines, research notes, and writing patterns.

Who must complete my coursework?

Students must personally complete and submit all assignments through their program dashboard. Submission of coursework by anyone other than the student, or submission of material not authored by the student, constitutes academic misconduct. Violations may result in disciplinary action, termination of enrollment, and may render any degree issued null and void.

Tuition and Payment Plans

What are the tuition program fees?

Bachelor’s Degree = $6995.00

Doctoral Degrees = $7995.00

Is there a discount for paying tuition in full?

Yes. Students who pay tuition in full at the time of enrollment receive a ten percent (10%) discount.

Do you have payment plans?

Payment plans are available for 6, 12, 24, and 36 months with no interest. The payment breakdown depends on the total tuition cost. By selecting a payment plan, you authorize KCNH to automatically debit monthly tuition payments from the payment method provided at checkout. Students are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method on file throughout the payment term. Scheduled payments have a thirty (30) day grace period, and a late fee of twenty-five dollars ($25) may be assessed for each monthly payment that remains unpaid more than thirty (30) days past its due date.

Am I still responsible for payments if I withdraw, am blocked, or am terminated?

Yes. Payment obligations remain in effect regardless of program completion, academic progress, withdrawal, blocked status, or termination, except as otherwise required by law or expressly provided in the KCNH refund policy.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payments must be made in U.S. dollars through our approved digital payment system using an accepted credit or debit card. KCNH does not accept checks, cash, money orders, or other non-digital forms of payment.

Can I pay off my balance early?

Yes. Early payoff of an outstanding balance is permitted without penalty. Until the balance is paid in full, the original payment terms remain in effect.

What happens if my account becomes delinquent?

If an account becomes ninety (90) days delinquent, the student’s program dashboard may be placed in blocked status, and the student will be given thirty (30) days to pay all outstanding installments in full. Continued nonpayment may result in termination of enrollment, referral to a third-party collection agency, and other remedies permitted by law.

Do you offer financial aid or scholarships?

KCNH does not currently accept federal financial aid, including FAFSA. However, we offer flexible payment plans to make tuition more manageable. Students can pay in installments.

KCNH does not offer scholarships at this time.

Are textbooks included in the tuition?

Textbooks are not included in the tuition. Students are responsible for acquiring the required materials, which may include textbooks or other resources specified in the course syllabus.

Do you offer refunds if I withdraw?

Students who withdraw from a degree program within 30 days of their enrollment date are eligible for a full tuition refund less a one hundred dollar ($100) administrative fee.

For withdrawals made between 31 and 60 days of enrollment, 50% of paid tuition will be refunded.

No refunds will be issued for withdrawals made after 60 days of enrollment.

How do payment plans work for international students?

International students can take advantage of the same payment plans as domestic students. Payments are processed in U.S. dollars.

What happens if I do not finish my program within the allowed time?

If a student does not complete all program requirements within the applicable timeframe (4 years for Bachelor’s programs, 5 years for Doctoral programs, measured from the date of first tuition payment), the program dashboard will be suspended. One-year extensions are available for a fee of four hundred ninety-five dollars ($495) per extension, and may be purchased annually with no limit on the total number. Each extension period begins on the date the prior deadline expires, and dashboard access is restored upon receipt of the extension fee. Extension fees are non-refundable.

KCNH programs and degrees are not equivalent or comparable to a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree or to any state-licensed professional credential. Until that time, use of any title or designation in any format is prohibited, and misuse of credentials may result in disciplinary or legal action.

Can I request a transcript?

Transcripts are issued in accordance with KCNH institutional policies. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, KCNH is not obligated to issue a transcript reflecting partial, incomplete, or in-progress coursework for any student who has not completed the applicable program requirements. KCNH reserves the right to determine the form, content, and timing of any transcript or academic record it issues. Transcripts may also be withheld in cases of nonpayment or other outstanding obligations.
